La Bella started out in the 17th century, the small town of Salle in the Abruzzi region of Italy; the 1640’s to be more precise. The Mari family became one of the suppliers of violin strings to both Amati and Stradivari in Cremona, Italy. Then in 1914 they moved to New York City to start an American operation. They make strings for many types of instruments and they are of the highest quality. Audionova is proud to distribute such a renowned brand.
