The C1 CRUX is designed for power-hungry digital pedals that require a lot of current: the Quad Cortex and HX Stomp are two examples. The CRUX plugs into the 24v expansion outlet on the DC7 and steps down the voltage to required levels. Output: 9v DC / 2700 mA OR 12v DC / 2000 mA.

The S5 SOL is the little brother of the DC7. It has five outlets that are the same amperage as the DC7. There’s no 24v expansion outlet, no USB, nor is there an LED power meter.
